Advisory: Novak Center for Children’s Health sets May 31 preview

WHAT: Preview of the Novak Center for Children’s Health prior to its public opening

Supporters of UofL will get a preview of the newest health care facility in the Louisville Medical Center. The Novak Center for Children’s Health is a 176,000-square-foot world-class pediatric outpatient care facility that will be home to the general, specialty and subspecialty pediatrics programs at UofL. This includes faculty from UofL’s Department of Pediatrics as well as other faculty from throughout the UofL School of Medicine. An anticipated 135,000 outpatient visits will occur each year following the opening of the Novak Center for Children’s Health which also will be the training ground for the next generation of physicians. Faculty physicians at UofL practice with UofL Physicians.

This invitation-only event for friends and supporters of the university will feature tours of the new building, information from the faculty and staff who will practice there and remarks from university leaders.
