A UofL alumna and Louisville native, she served as a writer and editor for local and national publications and as an account services coordinator and copywriter for marketing and design firms prior to joining UofL’s Office of Communications and Marketing.

Eating disorders affect about 8 million people in the United States at any one time. Although a large majority is young women, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other types of eating disorders can affect men and people of any age.
