College Women's Leadership conference is April 2

A University of Louisville conference aims to enhance college and high school students’ leadership skills. The University of Louisville Women’s Center and the Women4Women Student Board will host the 3^rd annual College Women’s Leadership Conference Saturday, April 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sessions will be in the College of Business and University Club. The conference is open to college students from Kentucky, as well as high school juniors and seniors. The conference will feature three keynote speakers:

• Lisa Hartung, IBM Global Talent Partner. Hartung has worked in areas including human resources for IBM for 32 years.
• Natika Washington, director of global programs in the Office of Global Women’s Issues at the U.S. Department of State. Washington is an Air Force veteran and graduate of George Washington University’s world executive master of business administration program.
• Tish Norman, executive director of Transforming Leaders Now, Inc., a leadership development company that specializes in educational programming.

The conference will also include several breakout sessions including a business fashion show and tips on interviewing skills. Registration is $25 and includes lunch. Register online.
