LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Abstracts are due midnight of Thursday, March 31, for the Inaugural Optimal Aging Conference.

www.OptimalAgingInstitute.org. The Optimal Aging Conference will be held June 12-14 in Louisville at the Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway. This conference is jointly presented by the Institute for Sustainable Health & Optimal Aging at the University of Louisville and the Kentucy Association for Gerontology (KAG).
The Optimal Aging Conference focuses on aging as an opportunity for indiduals and socieities, and not a disease. This conference is transdisciplinary and as such, individuals across a wide variety of perspectives and backgrounds are welcome to submit abstracts, including academics, health care professionals, social service professionals, business professionals working in health care, age care disrupters and older adults. The 2016 Optimal Aging additionally features several pre-conference opportunities:
- June 11-12: Chief Resident Immersion Traing (CRIT), a leadership training for Chief Residents, Program Directors and geriatrics faculty
