Kentucky-born Halpern ‘Dad’ to read from novel
Before he became infamous as a blunt advice-sharing father to a writer, Sam Halpern was a Kentucky farmer, a graduate of Kentucky universities and a professor of nuclear medicine in California. Now retired, he has added author to his resume and will give a free, public reading from his novel March 31 in Louisville.
