WHO:

Employees and visitors to University of Louisville Hospital

WHAT: 

UofL Hospital will honor the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. Staff and visitors will observe a moment of silence, and recognize the sacrifice of each branch of the U.S. military.  

Team members and visitors are invited to remember a friend or family member who sacrificed to protect our freedom by writing the person’s name, branch of the military and conflict in which they fought on a special banner. The banner will be in the lobby of the hospital from Thursday, May 24 until Tuesday, May 29.

UofL Hospital will fly the American flag at half-staff beginning at the event Friday until Tuesday.

At the flagpole outside the main entrance to the hospital at 500 South Jackson St.
