Naslund to give campus reading of new novel

Author Sena Jeter Naslund will read from her latest novel, “The Fountain of St. James Court, or Portrait of the Artist as an Old Woman,” at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, in Chao Auditorium, Ekstrom Library. October 1, 2013

The novel, set in Naslund’s own Old Louisville neighborhood, tells the story of a writer and her novel about the woman who was Marie Antoinette’s favorite portrait artist. Naslund also has a Marie Antoinette connection. Her book, “Abundance: A Novel of Marie Antoinette,” was published in 2006.

Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
