Renovation kick-off on new space for UofL optimal aging institute
Trager Family Foundation and Republic Bank Foundation gifts to support the renovation

WHAT:
With the swing of sledgehammers, UofL and city leaders, along with UofL donors will launch the renovation of space located on Market Street. The facility will become the new home of the University of Louisville Trager Institute, formerly the Institute for Sustainable Health and Optimal Aging. The Institute will expand into the new space thanks to generous gifts from the Trager Family and Republic Bank Foundations, and other financial supporters. The building will accommodate the Institute’s leading edge research, care coordination, physical and mental health clinical practice and educational programming.

Monday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m.
WHERE:
204 E. Market St. The space is located next to the Thrive Center, and the entrance to the building can be accessed behind the building from the alley off of Brook or Floyd Streets between Jefferson and Market Streets.
