Susan Duncan to be interim law dean
Susan Duncan, associate dean of academic affairs at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, will be interim dean of the school effective July 1. June 20, 2012Provost Shirley Willihnganz announced Duncan’s appointment after consulting with law school faculty and staff and discussing it with President James Ramsey. Duncan will succeed Jim Chen, who is expected to return to the law faculty after a year’s leave.
A member of the law school faculty since 1997, Duncan has been associate dean for more than a year and is a former chair of UofL’s Commission on the Status of Women.
