UofL leadership program offers grants for 2020
September 9, 2019LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Project on Ethical Leadership Excellence in the University of Louisville College of Business is offering five grants to be used for research or to develop instructional tools.
The project, established last year with generous support from UofL Director of Athletics Vince Tyra and his family, as well as a commitment of continuing support from Cardinal athletics and university partner Adidas AG, will award the grants for the 2020 calendar year. Awardees will be identified as fellows of the project. Funding for the grants was donated by the Sam and Bonnie Rechter Family Trust.
“The end result of these fellowships will be new ways to help people around the world achieve excellence in ethical leadership,” said COB Dean Todd Mooradian. “We invite other colleges and universities as well as corporations to get in on the ground floor with us and apply for these opportunities.”
Each grant totals up to $5,000. Fellowship funds must be used for research or for developing instructional tools that advance the mission of The Project for Ethical Leadership Excellence.
The request for proposals is open to all applicants, both within and outside UofL. Applicants must include a description of their qualifications for developing the tool or conducting the research they propose.
Proposals are due Oct. 15. For details and requirements, click here or email ryan.quinn@louisvillle.edu.
