Trustees extend Ramsey’s contract, approve new EVP
Citing his “exemplary performance” and his vision in moving the University of Louisville toward national prominence, the UofL Board of Trustees approved an extension of President James Ramsey’s contract until June 30, 2020.
Hoyle receives NIH funding to develop treatments for chemical injury
Gary Hoyle, professor, University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences, will build on his research to develop an effective medical treatment to counteract chlorine-induced lung injuries caused by chemical accidents or acts of terrorism.
Homecoming block party will be downtown
The University of Louisville Alumni Association will host a free, public block party in downtown Louisville Saturday, Oct. 22, to kick off 2011 Homecoming festivities.
