Three exhibits open at Hite Galleries
The University of Louisville Hite Art Institute has three new exhibitions in its Schneider Hall Galleries: “Sam Richards: Constructed Sculpture, Part II,” Belknap Gallery; “Rowland Ricketts: Immanent Blue Installation,” Gallery X; and “Precedents: 3 Hite Scholars” featuring Margaret Braden Merida, Carolyn Browning Weng and E. Gordon West, Covi Gallery.
Students to show off solar house headed for international competition
A team of students and faculty from several Kentucky and Indiana universities will open its student-built solar house to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the University of Louisville.
Ironman to affect campus traffic, parking Aug. 25
The Ironman Triathlon will take place in Louisville Sunday, Aug. 25. It will affect parking and street access around Belknap Campus and downtown starting Sunday and extending into the wee hours of Monday.
