V. Faye Jones receives 2013 Transformation Tea Unsung Shero Award

The Transformation Tea for Women of Color has given V. Faye Jones, MD, its 2013 Unsung Shero Award. The award recognizes a woman of color who is a UofL employee and who has made a significant impact in the lives of women either in the Louisville metro community or at UofL.
Eugenia Wang awarded Alltech Medal of Excellence

Eugenia Wang, PhD, the Gheens Foundation Inc. Chair in Aging Research at the University of Louisville, has received the 2013 Alltech Medal of Excellence for her pioneering work in using high-throughput technologies to explore the molecular signatures of Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias and heart disease.
