Stereo Empire to play WFPK Live Lunch at the Red Barn

Louisville-based band Stereo Empire will play WFPK’s “Live Lunch” program at the Red Barn on April 3. March 31, 2015

The University of Louisville Students Activities Board and the Red Barn Alumni Association sponsor the show.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the live broadcast starts at noon.

Stereo Empire came together in 2013 and began writing what would become “The Moves” EP.  The electronic pop-rock band announced a re-release of the EP for early 2015.

UofL students and employees can attend free of charge, but they need valid UofL IDs for entry.

SAB will have a free fish fry for attendees. A limited number of seats are reserved for pre-registered Louisville Public Media members. Remaining seats are first come, first serve.

Since 2009, SAB has partnered with the radio station to host a few “Live Lunch” broadcasts at the Red Barn each year.

“Live Lunch” is a weekly concert produced by WFPK. The program features local acts or groups that are in town for performances later the evening of the broadcast.
