Ocker receives award for overcoming adversity
In September 2010, Brent Ocker found himself living what could have been an episode of the TV show “House.” Doctors were stumped trying to determine why his body was shutting down. They finally pinpointed the cause as a rare form of botulism. Treatment worked and Ocker began the arduous task of regaining his health and completing his master’s degree in sport administration.
Office of the President treats military spouses
The University of Louisville Office of the President hosted 40 spouses of deployed Fort Knox soldiers to a day of discounted shopping and lunch Dec. 10.
UofL to study potential partnerships at Museum Plaza property
UofL and the Parking Authority of River City are considering a deal that would allow the university to pursue partnerships in developing the property once proposed for the Museum Plaza center on West Main Street.
