Dental students to spend four weeks at Indian Health Service
This summer about 20 School of Dentistry students will take part in a unique opportunity to grow their clinical skills while also gaining a greater understanding of other cultures.
Kempf-Leonard, Duncan, Mardis, Christie-David named to key positions
The Board of Trustees on Thursday approved the appointment of Kimberly Kempf-Leonard as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Kempf-Leonard comes to UofL from Southern Illinois University, where she has served as dean of the College of Liberal Arts. She will assume the new post on Aug. 1.
Darrell A. Griffith named associate vice president for health affairs at UofL
Darrell A. Griffith has been named the new associate vice president for health affairs/finance and administration for the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center. He also will assume the position of vice president/CFO for University of Louisville Physicians. Griffith comes from the University of Kentucky/UK Healthcare, where he was the executive director for the faculty practice organization.
